My xbox makes loud buzzing noises.

When I turned on my 360 the other day to play GTA my system made this loud buzzing noise inside as it was starting up the game. It was like ''rrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr'' and continued doing so until after a few mins into the game. After I was done playing and I shut it off it also made the same noise just not as intense, it made the same rrrrr sound as it was shutting down. To me it sounds like some sort of fan having problems or something like that inside the system. Does this happen to anyone else?

This happens to me every once in a while. Ive never had a problem with it though (nothing ever went wrong or broke). It usually happens after i have played for a long time. Also it usually happens with Halo 3 so it could just be a fluke but i wouldnt be worried.My xbox makes loud buzzing noises.

Mine has done that while playing Halo 3. At first it scared me so I turned the game off and then it happened again and I just kept playing and it stopped soon.Edit- I did have to send mine in. The video output stopped working, I even bought replacement cables and tried on 3 tv's and it still didnt work so I had to send it in. I never thought it had anything to do with the buzzing, but seeing other posters saying that they got the RRoD so now Im re-thinking it.
