My theory is that around the release dates for highly anticipated games a lot of small dvd shaped packages dissapear into some temp workers sticky fingers. The same happens in stores, how do you think GTA Iv got leaked over a week early? Some gutless employee from a warehouse somewhere stole a copy and ripped it.

Call customer services about it. Get on them about getting your game tell them what happened and dont let off call them every day i bet you will see your game quickly.
Yup... I will never order from stores like Best Buy, Gamestop/Ebgames, etc. I've seen too many problems with not getting games (in my brother's case). I stick to Blockbuster. No problems there, a guarantee is an actual guarantee. ;)
Just do what I did.I pre-ordered, but when it didn't arrive on release day I went into town and bought another copy and kept the receipt. When the posted copy finally arrived I returned it to the store with the receipt from the copy I was already playing.Then next time pick another site to preorder it from

I pre-ordered it, it shipped on the 28th and according to the tracking number has been sitting 2hrs away in Salt Lake City since the 30th. WTF!?!?

I can understand pre-ordering a game like GTA IV if you're getting the LE/CE versions of the game...... However I don't understand why some people pre-order online? Most of the time it's going to cost more money due to shipping and there's never a guarantee on when it will actually arrive. If anything why didn't you just pre-order in Best Buy and pick it up on the day of release? Just doesn't seem like ordering online is a good choice when you want the game ASAP.
Call them and get angry dude, go all out on them. For the bad service tell them you want both versions of the game free!

[/QUOTE]With standard shipping it comes out nearly the exact same price as it would be at a local store with taxes. I live in the middle of nowhere and don't have access to a Best Buy to pick it up at. The only thing we have is a Wal-Mart and they take forever to get a game in. That's why it's faster to pre-order for me. I'm just pissed at the fact that it's been sitting 2hrs away from me for 3 days. But it's still faster than waiting for the Wal-Mart to get it.
i pre-ordered mine at HMV, got a kickass t-shirt with it too....why wouldnt you just pre-order it somewhere nearby where you could just pick it up? do you live on an island?
this is why i don't preorder. i went into a store and they had a whole shelf of gta4's. i just grabbed one and paid and was on my way.
I never trust the internet on that kind of stuff
