Guitar Hero 3 connection problems...

So, I always used my laptop for Xbox Live, but recently bought the original Xbox adapter to play on Live. It seems to work just fine on any game, except for Guitar Hero 3. The wireless connection is 3 out of 4 bars, but it always says I can't connect to any games. Is there a way to fix this? Oh, my NAT is open, by the way.
