nope, my GTA IV is running smooth, no bugs,lag, any sort of issue(s)
once to me when I ordered a hamburger. I game didn't really freeze I just never got my burger and couldn't move but everybody else could. I'm sticking to hotdogs from now on.
I read that the 60gb ps3 had some problems with freezing. They are unsure wether its a software or hardware problem. Are you playing on xbox?
ive been playin it a lot since it came out 8 hrs straight the 1st day, it has never froze once, however i do notice that the hats or glasses i buy and put on suddenly dissappear for no reason off my body after a load screen or 2
Im about 12 hours into the single player and not one freeze. Also my brother has about 8 hours in and it has not froze for him either.

I do own a 60GB PS3. If it's a multi-player game I have to get it for the 360. I've been having problems with GTA4 multi-player games. Very laggy, maybe my expectations are too high after playing COD4 or even Halo3.
I have, and In my personal opinion the freezing problem has something to do with the internet. After hours of trouble shooting the only thing that gave me constant results was disabling the internet on the ps3. I'v tried deleting files like everyone else recommends but that didn't solve the problem every time for me. so just to reiterate I recommend you disable internet and see if that works for you as well... and patently wait for a patch along with the rest of us :P
it froze but went back to normal in 30 secs
it's only freezing on certain weaker xbox 360's, older ones I guess. GTA IV gave mine the rrod, but i'm getting it fixed next week..hopefully i'll be gettin a better console.
