You have to sign onto live with the original console you used to get the achievements for them to register, my guess if you didn't do this and when you recovered yours back onto your xbox it doesn't have those ahcievments as they have never been uploaded to the xbox servers. Also there is no way you spent 50+ hours on like 600 gamerpoints.Lost Achievement Points WTF
mass effect, devil may cry and cod4 on veteran man, also i didn't understand your answer
Basically if you played on your GT somewhere else and got points you have to go on live atleast once for them to stay. Since you recovered it without doing that they didn't get added.
Based off what you said in the first post I gathered that:You recovered your gamertag on to another Xbox 360 (say console b). You then played a bunch of games on that 360. You then recovered your account to another 360 (console A).What most likely happened is when you where playing on console B you where not connected to live. If this is true any of the achievements you gained while playing console B could not be uploaded to the Xbox LIVE servers and therefore do not reflect on your gamertag according to microsoft. You then most likely recovered your account to console A where microsoft pulled the information available on your account that is found on the LIVE servers. I hope this helps you understand a little better and please correct me if I am wrong, in which case please be more specific when describing the situation if you wish for help:)
nah it was the other way around man, but i researched and found that achievements are only stored in the live servers and when i uploaded my gamertag to my original xbox the one in my hd got erased for the one in the live server.at least now i know to not do it again, but thx for the help anyways :s
