Do XBOX 360 have technical problems?

Hi, I`m interested in buying one of the new game consoles:: PS3 or XBOX 360....I was really optimistic about the 360, but I knew that a lot of those consoles have had technical problems, such as super-heating......Anyone knows if this problem has been fixed by microsoft or it`s still dangerous???!!!!
