Freezing XBOX - quick question

My XBOX has been acting up (again) in the last few days. It keeps freezing and getting that old school pixelated color look that used to happen to NES games. It started with GTA IV, but it has happened on the dashboard. On the support page for XBOX.com, it describes the same solution for this as Rockstar has given for the GTA freezing problems: erase old game saves. Can someone please describe to me what the GTA problem is so I can narrow down what my problem is? My XBOX is a refurbished one I received after my second RROD problem, and it has never really worked right since I got it. If my glitch isn't being caused by an old game, GTA in particular, than I am going to call XBOX support and throw a fit.Freezing XBOX - quick question
Freezing is the first sign of the Red Ring of Death.Given that you are having video problems as well, which is the cause of the RROD. The solder joints coming lose between the CPU and GPU due to over-heating and poor quality parts.Your Xbox is on its way out, but there is no need to fear. All 360s come with a 3 year warranty for RROD.So when it does break, you will be covered. It goes by the Manufacture date on the back of the console. The 360 is not 3 years older until November. Freezing XBOX - quick question
