The price was dropped for the PC a number of months ago to 9.95 or 9.99. The PS2 and 360 price has been 9.95 or 9.99 right from the start. Also, you dont need a Live gold account. The game plays online via a silver account. I would highly suggest the demo from the marketplace if you can.
I loved PSO on the DC and I was so excited for this game, then I heard about the fee and promptly stopped caring. I can't believe they're still charging that much to play a game that really isn't that popular.
