Completely and utterly stoked about this game? I love when they remake classics like this. Plus it's Capcom, so I mean come on. This is going to be one of my Under-The-Radar gems of the year. What do you guys think? I'm very impressed by XBLA, Ikaruga now BCR right after. I'm not a compulsive spender, but they are getting a lot of my money this year.Bionic Commando Rearmed - Am I the only ...
No ur not the only 1. Im also hyped about this game and it will be one of the few xbla titles that ill b willing to spend $10 plus
Normally I just enjoy playing platformers, never really push myself to beat them. This is definitely one I'll be playing all the way through though.Good job on the part of Capcom though, good way to get hype on the upcoming 360 Bionic Commando game. Remaking the classic.
yup and if u get the x360 version u unlock a new character when u play the bigger game Bionic Commando
I can't wait for this one. I loved Bionic Commando. The XBLA games are becoming better and better. I was recently given a Wii and some points to spend on their online gaming service. Although it had some of my classic favs, the games just aren't anywhere close to some of the XBLA titles that have been coming out. I'm really excited about the new 1942 coming out. That's the only reason why I didn;t purchase Ikaruga.

I think VC needs to take notice, minor changes to older games breathes new life into them. Plus, people who never played things like Bionic Commando before, will be more willing to take a dive into it now, with a new updated approach to it. Some games really don't age well, and while they are classics and have that nostalgia, it's still almost a chore making it through them.A fresh feel means more people will be willing to play through who never got the chance, plus people who have been through it will get a new feel as well. Plus Capcom just rocks, so you know it will be great.@LazyBone thanks for that info! I didn't even know that...I'm slipping these days.
@ Mau Justice - I completely agree. New gamers really can't get into old games like those of us who played them when they were new. For us, there's a nostalgia factor for games like Super Mario and Excitebike. Look at me, I downloaded Kid Chameleon for the Genesis from the Wii VC because it is one of my favorite games of all time. But even now when I play it I think ''This is total Mario clone..'' and ''these graphics aren't as good as I remember them being''. But, on the flipside, I still can't put down Metal Slug for XBLA. Even being a 2D side scroller, I still think the graphics are stellar. Plainly put, XBLA games rock.
I think the game looks awesome. I don't know if I'll even try the demo. I might skip straight to purchase.
Hell to the no! You are NOT the only one stoked about this. I got half a rubbery one when I learned this game was coming.
I'll be getting it.
I think VC needs to take notice, minor changes to older games breathes new life into them.
My problem with the VC is that they don't always release the best version of games. For a lot of older games, especially ones that were ported from arcades, they were censored and had content removed (sometimes entire levels or characters). If a game like that came out for the XBLA the game would have the best version, then the leadboards, achievements, private chat ability, and if the game was more than one player it would likely be online, it also might be cheaper. With the VC you get the game as it was when it was released, sometimes with problems and no online.
I love when they remake classics like this.
I dont.Normally, but Capcom have proven themselves capable of doing justice to the classics like Resident Evil and so i'm really stoked about Bionic Commando, not so much Rearmed however, but the main remake, I really enjoyed Lost Planet, and so im hoping it will be similar but a little more refined.
Well i though i was the only one, until i found this forum.Yay i found people who are also interested in this game:D
